Sunpower's (SGX:5GD) attributable profit to equity holders surged 29% during the first quarter of the year to 72.2 million yuan from 56.0 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
Earnings per share rose to 0.0908 yuan compared with 0.0704 yuan in the comparable period.
Revenue declined 4% year over year to 793.1 million yuan from 825.8 million yuan, due to price adjustment because of a decrease in fuel costs.
