WeRide (WRD) said Wednesday it launched eight autonomous 24/7 robotaxi pilot operation routes in central Guangzhou, China.

The company said the the introduction of the country's first 24-hour autonomous ride-hailing network that covers the core areas of a tier 1 city accelerates the mass commercialization of its robotaxi services.

WeRide shares were up 6.7% in premarket activity Wednesday.
