Flex (FLEX) unit Anord Mardix said Tuesday the company's European power product capacity doubled to 1.2 million square feet after it recently acquired a manufacturing site in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, to match the growing data center power demand for artificial intelligence applications.

The 600,000-square-foot facility employs 700 workers entrusted to build grid-to-chip products, including switchgear, power pods, and busway systems, the company said.

The Polish site follows the opening of a second facility spanning 120,000 square feet in Dundalk, Ireland, according to a statement.

The company said it recently inaugurated a critical power product facility in Dallas, Texas and acquired Crown Technical Systems and JetCool Technologies.

Shares were up 2.4% in recent trading.
