North Stawell Minerals (ASX:NSM) said that a diamond drilling program at the Darlington West target in Victoria intercepted gold mineralization, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm is focusing on two priority targets, Wildwood and Darlington, in its exploration program, the filing said.
Drilling returned multiple intercepts, including a 45-meter zone of anomalous gold that included 0.8 meters at 1.07 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 156.2 meters, as well as a 16-meter anomalous zone with 0.85 meters at 1.56 g/t grade of gold from 258 meters.
Its shares fell 15% on market close on Tuesday.
