Comstock Names Merrill CFO

Comstock appointed Judd Merrill as chief financial officer and president of the company's mining subsidiary, effective May 19.

Merrill was most recently CFO at Aqua Metals, a Nevada-based metal recycling company, a position he held since November 2018.

He also worked for Comstock, known then as Comstock Mining, from 2011 to 2017. Positions held during his previous time with the company included CFO and Corporate Secretary. He also was on the company's board of directors.

"His inclusion is especially significant as we capitalize, accelerate and expand our metal recycling business and prepare our teams to separate our renewable fuels business into a stand-alone, independent company," Chief Executive Corrado De Gasperis said.
