Aura Biosciences (AURA) said Thursday that it has priced an

underwritten public offering of shares, prefunded warrants and warrants to raise $75 million.

The offering includes about 11.7 million shares and accompanying warrants to buy some 2.9 million shares, Aura said. The combined price of each share and warrant is $4.90.

The company said it is also offering some investors prefunded warrants to purchase up to about 3.6 million shares, along with warrants to buy up to 892,858 shares.

Aura said it plans to use the net proceeds to help advance its clinical programs and for general corporate purposes. It expects to close the offering May 16.

Shares of Aura were up more than 7% in recent trading.
