London May cocoa expiry sees 24,680 metric tons tendered

LONDON, May 15 (Reuters) - A total of 24,680 metric tons of cocoa was tendered against the ICE May London cocoa contract LCCK5, exchange data showed on Thursday.

The delivery against the contract, which expired on Wednesday, included 9,620 tons of cocoa from Nigeria, 6,580 tons from Ecuador and 5,620 tons from Cameroon as well as smaller volumes from several other origins.

The sellers of the cocoa were Societe Generale International (17,080 tons), Sucden Financial (6,150), BNP Paribas SA (1,000) ADM Investor Services International Ltd (240), ABN AMRO Clearing Bank NV (110), StoneX Financial Inc (60) and StoneX Financial Ltd (40).

All the cocoa was bought by ABN AMRO Clearing Bank NV.
