Golden Agri-Resources' (SGX:E5H) net profit during the first quarter of the year jumped 47% to $55 million from $37 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
Gross profit rose 42% to $433 million from $304 million a year earlier.
Revenue meanwhile, was up 19% year over year to $3.04 billion from $2.56 billion, due to improved plantation output.
During the period, the company's upstream palm product output rose 11% to 658,000 tons from 590,000 tons in the year-ago period.
