Codexis (CDXS) reported a Q1 net loss late Wednesday of $0.25 per diluted share, widening from a loss of $0.16 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.24.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $7.5 million, down from $17.1 million a year earlier. Analysts expected $9.7 million.

The company reaffirmed its full-year 2025 guidance for revenue to be in the range of $64 million to $68 million. Analysts are looking for $65.7 million.

Shares of the company were down more than 6% in recent after-hours activity.
