Process industries shares gained the most on the New Zealand Exchange, rising nearly 2% by midday Thursday.

Sanford (NZE:SAN) shares rose past 4% in recent trade after it posted earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half of NZ$0.364, up from NZ$0.173 per diluted share a year earlier.

On the other hand, technology services shares dropped past 2%.

Gentrack Group (ASX:GTK, NZE:GTK) drove the decline, with shares dropping almost 5%.
