Major digital assets were mostly lower late afternoon Monday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) easing below the $102,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, was down 2.5% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 was up 3.8% in late trading, the S&P 500 added 3.1%, and Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 2.7%.
Bitcoin was down 2.5% at $101,901, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume rose 27.9% to $62.22 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, fell 2.4% to $2,459.
XRP (XRP-USD) gained 4.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) rose 0.8%, and Solana (SOL-USD) dropped 1.2%.
Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) dipped 2.2%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) fell 1%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.453% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, up from 4.371% Friday, while the five-year yield increased to 4.099% from 3.985%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry decreased 1.9% in the past 24 hours to $3.27 trillion, with trading volume rising 26.7% at $176.31 billion.
