China Coal Energy's (HKG:1898, SHA:601898) commercial coal production increased 5.4% to 11.1 million tonnes in April from 10.5 million tonnes in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Sales slipped 5.8% year over year to 21.1 million tonnes from 22.4 million tonnes, the filing said.
