Astute Metals NL (ASX:ASE) said recent drilling has extended lithium mineralization in its Red Mountain project in Nevada, US, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results include 32.4 meters at 3,260 parts per million (ppm) lithium from 57.2 meters, including 8.6 meters at 5,060 ppm lithium from 67.7 meters.
The company said assays are pending from five other recently completed drill holes in the project.
The company's shares rose 12% on Monday's close.
