OSI Systems, Inc. has announced a significant contract valued at approximately $56 million with an international customer. The deal involves the deployment of multiple units of their Eagle® M60 ZBx multi-energy, mobile cargo and vehicle inspection systems and the ZBV® Z Backscatter® vehicle screening systems. These advanced systems are designed to scan large trucks, buses, and cargo containers to detect threats such as explosives, drug smuggling, currency, and trade-fraud items. The technology will be utilized for international port and border security applications. Additionally, OSI Systems will provide ongoing maintenance and training support.
