1235 ET - Even as more users look to ChatGPT, Meta AI and Google's Gemini to research products and shop, relatively few are using the platforms to plan trips, Morgan Stanley analysts said in a research note. Younger cohorts, though, are increasingly turning to the applications for travel planning, with such usage growing at a faster clip than for their older peers in the last six months, the analysts said. Product innovation and improved commercial capabilities, like a Google digital travel agent or similar offering, will likely dictate the pace of adoption from here on out, the analysts say.
