Black Stone Minerals (BSM) said Monday that it has signed an agreement with Revenant Energy to develop its expanded Shelby Trough Haynesville and Bossier acreage in Texas.
The deal includes approximately 270,000 gross acres in San Augustine, Nacogdoches, Angelina, Houston, and Trinity counties, the company said.
The company also said it has agreed to amend development agreements with Aethon Energy in Angelina and San Augustine counties in Texas.
Under the agreement, Aethon will provide Black Stone Minerals with "highly prospective" mineral acreage to support another potential development program in the region, the company said.
