Top End Energy (ASX:TEE) has appointed New York-based Amvest Capital Securities as its North American corporate advisor, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Amvest will guide the company's planned American Depositary Receipt listing in the third quarter of the year, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
