Native Mineral Resources Holdings (ASX:NMR) said commissioning kickoff for its Blackjack gold project in Queensland is confirmed for late May, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The project remains on track for first gold production in the early third quarter, the filing added. Full site energization and wet commissioning are expected in June.

The company secured a drill and blast and mining services contractor for the project. The mining fleet is currently mobilizing to the site, with initial work programs scheduled to start in June.
