SigmaTron International (SGMA) shares more than doubled after the company said it agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of private equity firm Transom Capital Group for $3.02 per share in cash or a total enterprise value of about $83 million.
Over 18 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of roughly 85,000.
CFSB Bancorp (CFSB) said it agreed to be acquired by Hometown Financial Group in a deal valued at about $44 million.
Shares of CFSB soared 72%, with intraday trading volume at over 214,000 compared with a daily average of roughly 2,500.
CoreWeave (CRWV) said Wednesday it priced a $2 billion offering of 9.250% senior notes due 2030 at par of principal amount. The offering was raised from $1.5 billion previously.
Shares advanced 15% as intraday trading volume surged to more than 48 million from a daily average of almost 16 million.
