May 23 - (The Insurer) - Alliant has appointed Lainie Dorneker from Bowhead Specialty as senior vice president, specializing in the healthcare field.

Dorneker joins Alliant after four years at Bowhead Specialty, where she established the healthcare liability division as the head of healthcare.

Prior to that, she served as president of IronHealth at Ironshore Insurance, where she spent 11 years, and held various roles at Zurich North America.

She began her career as an attorney, focusing on representing policyholders in insurance counseling matters and coverage disputes.
