Wall Street's main indexes slumped on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump recommended 50% tariffs on the European Union, while Apple tumbled after he warned it will have to pay tariffs if iPhones were not manufactured in the U.S. .N

At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.33% at 41,722.20. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.36% at 5,820.37 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.56% at 18,819.66.
