1356 ET - McDonald's beverage oriented offshoot, CosMc's, will wind down later next month as it shifts to testing some of the novel drinks in its regular U.S. restaurants, the company says. McDonald's had roughly 10 CosMc's locations in Texas and Illinois that it began opening as a pilot in December 2023. The company said fewer customers asked for customized drinks at CosMc's than it expected, and it will try serving the drinks in its existing restaurants. (heather.haddon@wsj.com; @heatherhaddon)
