The company's revenue increased by 13.7% to RMB 591.5 million from RMB 520.4 million in the same period the previous year. Gross profit rose by 15.8% to RMB 207.6 million, driven by an increase in average tuition fees and student enrollment. The profit for the period reached RMB 58.4 million, marking a 58.5% increase from RMB 36.8 million reported in the corresponding period in 2024. The profit attributable to owners of the company was RMB 49.1 million, up 55.3% from RMB 31.6 million. Adjusted net profit, a non-IFRS measure, increased by 26.8% to RMB 62.1 million. Earnings per share saw an improvement, with basic and diluted earnings per share rising to 1.6 fen from 1.0 fen in the previous year. The increase in the company's total revenue was largely attributed to higher tuition fees, boarding fees, and canteen operations fees, in line with the growth in student enrollment. For the 2024-2025 school year, Virscend Education Group's self-operated schools had a total enrollment of 34,307 students across its high schools and university, and the company employed 1,513 teachers in China. Additionally, Virscend University in Irvine, California, received full accreditation from the WASC Senior College & University Commission in March 2024, currently offering a Master of Business Administration program.
