Benz Mining (ASX:BNZ) has started a 30,000-metre reverse circulation drilling campaign at its Glenburgh Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Diamond drilling at the project is scheduled for the third quarter of the year, and a regional soil sampling campaign will begin shortly, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 6% in recent Wednesday trade.
