Verbrec (ASX:VBC) disclosed new contracts worth more than AU$11 million and sounded upbeat about its fiscal second-half prospects, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The new secured projects include AU$6.8 million worth of contracts to provide electrical and control system upgrade and maintenance services for the Commonwealth Defense.

Verbrec expects to recognize the majority of revenues in fiscal 2026, per the filing.

The company also sees a "solid profit performance" for the fiscal second half. It expects higher earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization and net profit after tax than the preceding and year-ago period as project deferrals begin to ease, the filing stated.

Verbrec's shares climbed 14% in recent Wednesday trade.
