Scienture Appoints Co-CEOs as Suren Ajjarapu Steps Down

Scienture Holdings (SCNX) said Thursday that Suren Ajjarapu has stepped down as chief executive and chairman, with Dr. Shankar Hariharan and Dr. Narasimhan Mani taking over as co-CEOs.

Hariharan, named executive chairman, led Scienture before its 2024 merger with the current company, and Mani was appointed president and co-CEO after previously leading Scienture LLC, the company said.

Both executives were already leading the company's pharmaceutical unit and will continue in those positions, Scienture said.

Scienture also said Ajjarapu will remain an advisor to the board after overseeing the company's merger and exit from its healthcare IT platform.
