EVT Secures Contract to Operate Four New Imax Locations in Australia

Cinema and resort operator EVT (ASX:EVT) will operate four new Imax with Laser systems in Australia, marking its largest deal ever for such contract in the country, according to a joint statement on Wednesday.

The first three locations will open before the end of 2026, with the fourth one slated for 2027.

The upcoming sites will be equipped with a 4K laser projection system, including a "new optical engine, custom-designed lenses, and a suite of proprietary technology," according to the release.
