Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) said reverse circulation drilling at its Side Well gold project in Western Australia, beneath recent gold discoveries, confirmed additional gold mineralization, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
Significant intercepts encountered during the drilling included 14 meters at 1.64 grams per tonne grade of gold from 83 meters, as well as 19 meters at 0.84 g/t grade of gold from 28 meters.
The firm is awaiting assays from 16 reverse circulation drill holes.
Meanwhile, air core drilling extended the Eaglehawk deposit by a further 200 meters, with a "significant" intercept of eight meters at 2.19 g/t grade of gold from 60 meters.
Its shares climbed 3% in recent trading on Friday.
