May 21 - (The Insurer) - April Galda Joyce has been appointed a board member at Essent, a private mortgage insurance and title insurance provider based in Radnor, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her new role at Essent, Galda Joyce serves on the boards of Mereo Insurance Limited and Symetra.

Most recently, Galda Joyce was CEO of Beat Capital Partners Americas until 2023.

Prior to that, she spent five years at Global Atlantic Financial Group, ultimately serving as chief culture officer. Earlier in her career, she worked at Ariel Re and Goldman Sachs.
