Lenovo Group (HKG:0992) recorded a 64% decline in attributable profit in the fourth fiscal quarter to $90 million from $248 million in the year-ago period, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse stated.

Earnings per share were $0.0071 in the three months ended March 31, down from $0.0195 in the corresponding period of the last year, versus the Visible Alpha consensus estimate of $0.02 per share.

The PC hardware company's revenue, however, rose 23% to $17.0 billion in the period from $13.8 billion a year prior. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting a revenue of $15.6 billion.

For the full year ended March 31, attributable profit rose 37% to $1.38 billion, while revenue saw a 21% boost in $69.1 billion.

The firm attributed the lower profit in the quarter mainly to a non-cash fair value loss on warrants.

The firm will recommend a final dividend of HK$0.305 cents per share for the year, payable Aug. 13 to shareholders of record on Aug. 1.
