Chalice Mining (ASX:CHN) discovered anomalous gold mineralization at the Hardtack target within the Kings project in Western Australia through first-pass reverse circulation/diamond drilling, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Meanwhile, first-pass shallow air-core drilling at the Barrabarra project intersected greenstone geology and anomalous gold/copper in previously mapped greenfield target areas, the filing said.

Further soil sampling and drilling will be conducted to refine targets before potential follow-up drilling, according to the filing.
