EDP Sells Brazilian Thermal Plant Stake for $35 Million

EDP said it would sell its stake in a thermal plant in Pecem, Brazil, to Diamante Geracao de Energia for $35.4 million.

The Portuguese company said Monday that its Brazilian subsidiary would sell its full stake in Pecem Geracao de Energia for 200 million real($35.4 million).

The deal is subject to regulatory approval, the company said.
