LG Electronics (KRX:066570) signed a memorandum of understanding with data center system integration company GS ITM to provide high-efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and IT infrastructure solutions for upcoming metropolitan data centers.
The partnership will also focus on retrofitting existing facilities through energy diagnostics and expanding into business-to-business markets such as power plants and commercial buildings, GS ITM said in a Monday press release.
Shares of LG Electronics rose more than 3% in recent trade on Wednesday.
