United Airlines (UAL) said Friday it reached a tentative agreement with the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA covering 28,000 workers, pending ratification.
The deal includes top-of-industry wages, a signing bonus, and improvements to scheduling and quality of life, the company said.
The final contract will be completed soon and requires approval by AFA's Master Executive Council before going to members for a ratification vote, United Airlines said.
The agreement, if ratified, would remain in place for five years, the company added.
Shares of the company were up by 2% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
