Jacobs Solutions Inc. has successfully managed the construction of the new Houston Methodist Hospital in Cypress, Texas. The $685 million project was completed ahead of schedule, allowing for the early activation of the state-of-the-art medical facility. Spanning 570,000 square feet, the hospital includes a seven-story main building, two six-story medical office buildings, and a renovated central utility plant. Designed to meet the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing Cypress community, the hospital features 100 licensed beds, nine operating rooms, and advanced medical technologies such as a da Vinci 5 surgical robot and patient-controlled room settings via voice commands. The facility, fully equipped with 5G technology, also includes an emergency department, critical care unit, and birthing center. Jacobs provided project management and construction management services, working closely with Houston Methodist to deliver a transformative healthcare environment that supports the community's evolving needs.
