Golden Agri-Resources Ltd. (GAR) has entered into a new partnership with the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD) to accelerate innovation in sustainable palm oil. Announced at the Indonesia-France Business Forum 2025, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) extends their longstanding collaboration, aiming to tackle critical challenges like climate resilience and land-use efficiency. The partnership will involve joint investments in research and development, including climate change impact simulations, to benefit palm oil farmers and support Indonesia's national food security and carbon reduction goals. The MoU was signed in the presence of key government officials from both Indonesia and France.
