BlockBeats News, May 29th. According to Bloomberg, the Polish presidential election has entered its final stage. Candidate Karol Nawrocki recently released a video on social media, promising to support the development of the cryptocurrency industry if elected and to oppose regulatory policies that restrict investment freedom. This candidate, supported by the Law and Justice Party, admitted that he does not hold any cryptocurrency but emphasized that "Poland should be a birthplace of innovation rather than regulation."

The latest polls show that Nawrocki and Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski have similar levels of support. Analysts believe that Nawrocki's pro-crypto stance is aimed at attracting the supporters of far-right candidate Slawomir Mentzen, who is known for holding Bitcoin and is expected to receive 14.8% of the first-round votes. It is worth noting that Trzaskowski publicly opposed regulatory measures in the Polish cryptocurrency market in February.
