Lucid Group Inc., the innovative electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced a multi-year supply agreement with Graphite One to enhance its U.S. supply chain with American-sourced natural graphite. This collaboration aims to bolster Lucid's commitment to using localized raw materials, supporting U.S. economic independence and reducing the carbon footprint of their vehicles. Graphite One will supply natural graphite from the Graphite Creek deposit in Alaska, with production expected to start in 2028. This agreement builds on a previous deal for synthetic graphite and marks a significant step in establishing a fully domestic graphite supply chain in the U.S., enhancing the nation's industry and national defense capabilities.
