Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) said Wednesday that its total average daily volume rose 13% year over year in May.
The market operator said open interest in May was up 8% year over year.
Energy ADV rose 10%, while open interest increased 6%.
Total oil ADV was up 16%, with open interest climbing 18%.
Financials ADV increased 21%, while open interest rose 15%.
