CITIC Securities' (HKG:6030, SHA:600030) unit, CSI MTN, issued bonds amounting to $194 million, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.

The bonds, which were part of a $5 billion medium-term bond program, were issued in two tranches.

After the current issuance, the total outstanding principal balance of the bonds under the program is $2.9 billion, the Chinese securities broker said.

CITIC Securities' Hong Kong shares rose less than 2% and Shanghai shares climbed 1% in recent trade.
