LIG Nex1 (KRX:079550) signed a cooperation agreement with UK-based Babcock Marine to jointly pursue new ship construction and global maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) projects, the South Korean defense and aerospace firm said last week.

The deal covers integrated solutions for shipbuilding and unmanned surface vehicle (USV) maintenance, combining LIG Nex1's defense systems with Babcock's shipbuilding expertise, the release said.
