In response to the Ethereum Foundation's proposed layoff plan and subsequent development direction today, Kyle Samani, co-founder of Multicoin Capital, commented, "Please note that the definition of the word 'focus' often implies 'less' rather than 'more,' especially when goals should not conflict with each other. But when we look at Goal 3 (i.e., L1, L2 network expansion, improving user experience) from the perspective, Goals 1 (i.e., layoff) and 2 (i.e., clear division of responsibilities) are contradictory."
