1310 GMT - ASML Holding faces the prospect of sluggish sales growth next year if orders for its chip-making machinery don't pick up significantly, Barclays Capital analysts write in a note. The analysts downgrade their rating for the Dutch group's stock to equalweight from overweight. They expect ASML's sales to grow just 1% in 2026. ASML's orders could be lifted by significant spending from clients like Samsung Electronics or Intel. The analysts say this is unlikely before 2027 at the earliest. ASML shares trade 0.5% lower at 642.90 euros. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
