June 2 - (The Insurer) - Arch Insurance International has appointed Tim Chapman as head of construction, a new role in which he will develop the insurer’s global open-market construction portfolio, the company said on Monday.

Based in London, he reports to Jake Gibbs, head of marine, energy and construction.

Chapman brings over 25 years of experience underwriting large-scale infrastructure projects.

He joins Arch from Scor, where he was global segment leader for civil works and EMEA head of construction.

He has also served as senior engineering underwriter at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty.
