Broadcom (AVGO) said Tuesday that it launched a new switch series Tomahawk 6, which can provide switching capacity of 102.4 terabits per second that is double the bandwidth of any currently available Ethernet switch.
The energy-efficient switch series includes AI routing features and interconnect options to meet the demands of AI clusters with more than one million auxiliary processing units, the company said.
