Safehold Inc. $(SAFE)$, a leader in the modern ground lease industry, has successfully closed a ground lease to support the recapitalization of a 336-unit multifamily property located in Florida's Space Coast. This transaction marks Safehold's 18th deal in Florida and its first collaboration with JT Capital, a Texas-based investment management firm. The agreement includes a leasehold loan and a long-term ground lease, providing JT Capital with access to lower-cost, long-term capital. Tim Doherty, Safehold's Chief Investment Officer, expressed enthusiasm for establishing a partnership with JT Capital and expanding their ground lease operations.
