Jiangsu Lopal Tech's (HKG:2465, SHA:603906) unit, LBM New Energy (AP), agreed to provide battery materials to a unit of EVE Energy (SHE:300014) for over 5 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

Malaysia-based LBM New Energy will provide 152,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials to Eve Energy Malaysia and its affiliates from 2026 to 2030, the disclosure said.

The company's Hong Kong shares surged nearly 15% and its Shanghai shares jumped 10% in recent trading.
