Markel Insurance, part of Markel Group Inc. $(MKL)$, has completed its acquisition of The MECO Group Limited, a specialist marine MGA, following regulatory approvals. The acquisition integrates MECO into Markel International's Specialty division and will see MECO operating under the name MECO Specialty. Andrew McMellin, President of Markel International, expressed excitement about the acquisition, highlighting MECO's strong brand and distribution channels.
