Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. and GE Aerospace have signed a formal teaming agreement to advance propulsion technologies for unmanned aerial systems and Collaborative Combat Aircraft-type aircraft. This partnership builds on their previous Memorandum of Understanding, focusing on developing affordable and efficient propulsion systems. The collaboration will see the development, testing, and production of the GEK800 Engine, as well as work on the new GEK1500 engine. This effort aims to meet the United States' national security needs by providing low-cost, high-performance propulsion solutions for defense applications. Kratos contributes its extensive experience in affordable engine development, while GE Aerospace brings its expertise in scaling advanced designs for production.
