Paramount Global (PARA)'s Nickelodeon said Thursday that it is acquiring Mr. Crocodile, an animated kids' series based on the French children's book Monsieur Crocodile a Beaucoup Faim.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The series will air globally on Nick Jr. Channels and on France Televisions in France, the company said.
